My Modalities
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is like a life toolkit I’ll help you build so you can face whatever comes your way without letting it hold you back. Instead of fighting with your thoughts and feelings, we’ll work together to make peace with them and move forward in a way that lines up with your values and goals. It’s all about learning to accept life’s ups and downs while taking action on what truly matters to you, whether that’s chasing a big dream, building deeper relationships, or simply finding more joy in the everyday. With ACT, you can stop letting stress and worries call the shots and start living a life that feels real and rewarding no matter what.
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a journey of going internal and exploring the different “parts” of yourself. Instead of pushing away or ignoring uncomfortable feelings, we’ll explore them with curiosity and compassion, helping you connect with your core self, the calm, wise, grounded part of you that’s always there. With IFS, you can heal old wounds, settle inner conflicts, and build more harmony inside so you can show up in life with clarity, confidence, and kindness. It’s about understanding that every part of you has a voice and a purpose, and when they’re cared for, you can live a more balanced and authentic life.
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is all about giving you practical skills to handle life’s toughest moments without getting overwhelmed. I especially love using the distress tolerance tools, which help you ride out intense emotions, manage stress, and stay grounded when things feel out of control. It’s not about ignoring your feelings but about learning how to get through them safely and come out the other side able to make choices that align with your values and goals. With DBT skills in your toolkit, you can face life’s challenges with more resilience, calm, and confidence.
-
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is about facing the distressing thoughts, feelings, or situations that fuel OCD and learning to resist the urge to do compulsions. The goal is to break the cycle of seeking constant reassurance or relief through rituals or other coping behaviors. ERP is one of the most effective, evidence-based treatments for OCD, and over time it helps you build confidence, reduce fear, and take back control of your life.
-
Navigating an eating disorder can feel like an uphill battle. My goal is to help you break free from the cycle of shame and guilt that often keeps you stuck. Together, we can build skills to manage ED urges and help you grow in connection with your authentic self.

OCD can feel overwhelming and exhausting. Intrusive thoughts may leave you feeling disturbed, guilty, or questioning what kind of person you are. You spend hours ruminating or doing compulsions for a sense of relief, only to find yourself right back in the same cycle. Whether it’s contamination fears, scrupulosity, moral concerns, or something else, therapy can help you learn new ways to respond to OCD. Using a blend of ERP and ACT, you’ll practice breaking free from the cycle of distress and compulsions while building a more meaningful, values-driven life.
-
Whether seasonal or more persistent, mood disorders can leave you feeling hopeless and ready to give up. Through therapy, I’ll help you rediscover hope. Whether you’re navigating depression or bipolar I or II disorder, I’ll support you in managing life’s lows while walking alongside you through the highs as they come.
-
Anxiety can hit like a ton of bricks, leaving you breathless, heart racing, and unsure of your next step. Together, we’ll explore ways to navigate life’s worries and reduce anxiety. By learning to separate yourself from your thoughts and increasing coping skills, we can work toward a more meaningful life and help anxiety loosen its grip.
